Can we give parents the tools to make an impact on the long-term health of their kids?

Parents hear a lot these days about childhood obesity, and the positive effects of exercise. Most want to increase the amount of activity in their kids’ day.

Activities to try with children

Health Nexus and Have a Ball Together wanted to create a fun resource for parents and caregivers to help with this.

If you’re a kindergarten teacher, day-care provider, parent or grandparent, this resource site holds years worth of activities to try to with your little ones. Not much space? No problem. No equipment? No problem. Set your criteria, then search the activity library. Hundreds of activities will present themselves.

The site also offers guides, current research findings, posters and reminders for your refrigerator. It is fully bilingual, and with its CMS, Health Nexus can make changes easily.

A ton of information—yes—that leads to fun.
